OUR SERVICES
Our service team is staffed by professional mechanics, trained and certified to work on all brands and types of bicycles. Whether it’s a tube change, minor tune-up, or a major overhaul, you can count on us to complete the service properly and get you back on the road or trail.
Your bike is a mechanical device and as such needs regular maintenance and occasional repair. Preventive maintenance is the best way to get a lifetime of enjoyable miles from your bike, but even the most conscientious of us can have things go wrong when we least expect it.
If you have a simple repair such as a flat tire or cable adjustment we may well be able to help you while you wait. Calling ahead is always a good idea, but we understand that’s not always possible. We will always try to fit your bike repair into your schedule (we do make appointments), and it’s always worth asking us about quick turn-around-times. However, during the peak season (April through June) the service department can get backed up as long as 3 weeks. Plan accordingly to the best extent possible and we will do as much as we can to accommodate your specific situation.
We do our best to make our bicycle repair services some of the best in the industry. In addition to being completely capable of executing everything from basic tube changes, to wheel builds, to complete overhauls, we also have several specialties. See below for examples.
- Campagnolo- Not only do we make the effort to stock Campagnolo parts such as cassettes, chains, cables, bottom brackets, and shifter parts, but we also have the required special tools and keep our mechanics trained on the intricacies of everything Campagnolo.
- Full-suspension mountain bikes- From hydraulic brake bleeding, to pivot bushing and bearing replacement, to suspension (fork and shock) overhauls. Almost everything is done in-house, so no waiting for a fork or shock to be sent out for repair and returned!
- Mavic- Mavic makes fantastic wheels, but they often rely on proprietary components that are not available in every shop. Because we’re a Mavic dealer, we stock those specific Mavic parts. Whether it’s a bearing, a spoke, a freehub body pawl, or a freehub itself, we have the part at the experience to tackle the repair quickly and competently.
