Blue Sky Bicycles was established in 1998 by Liz Gormley, a former USA Cycling Coach. Liz raced and coached for many years enjoying success on the road, on the trails and in cyclocross. After working as an independent sales rep and a national sales manager for several bicycle companies, Liz set out to create a retail store that reflected her love and enthusiasm for the sport of cycling.
Today Blue Sky represents the best brands in the cycling industry.
Why Blue Sky Bicycles?
There certainly is no shortage of bike shops to choose from, so why shop at Blue Sky Bicycles? To put it simply, it’s the experience. The experience of the staff, their expertise, and their genuine enthusiasm for all things cycling, all housed in a truly unique retail environment.
Demo Bikes, Saddle Test Ride, Wheel Demo, Garmin Rental.
There is no better way to decide whether a bike or piece of equipment is right for you than by riding it. We don't mean a test ride around the block. Many of our products, including bikes from Parlee, Pinarello, Santa Cruz, and Trek are in our Demo Program. For $70 you may take the bike for 3 days and really get a feel for the ride characteristics, component package and wheels sets. We believe our Demo program will make you a much more informed consumer and can help you decide which bikes or equipment are right for you.
The Blue Sky staff includes a USA Cycling Category 2 Coach, two SICI certified fitters, two SBCU certified fitters, one Cyclogic certified fitter, a former Team Mechanic for Exergy Twenty12, a former US Olympic Team cycling coach, podium finishers in single speed mtb, cyclcross, and Cat 4 and 5 road races. As well as A Kona finisher and age grade Top 5 finisher in national triathlon events.
In short, we know our stuff. Our primary responsibility is to share with you our expertise when you ask for it, our knowledge when you seek it and our passion for the sport of cycling in all it's unique forms.
We look forward to serving you with competence and enthusiasm to ensure that your cycling experiences are everything you hope they'll be.

Hometown: Argyle, NY
Cycling experience: Started riding my dad's old road bike in 2009. I got serious enough to get my own bike, and I spent the winter crying solitary tears of boredom. In 2010 I started racing with the local junior racing team, the Farm Team. It was a learning experience, and a very humbling one. After knee surgery last fall, I'm looking forward to competing in as many stage races in 2014 as my schedule allows.
Favorite bike ever: My Pinarello Fp3.
Something you wouldn’t think was true about Caleb but is… he sings in the shower.
